Hello,
I was curious as to the status of the "beta" release of Numenta's HTM platform. I understand Numenta was supposed to rlease it by Fall 2006...is it in beta currently?

Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I don't think that anybody at Numenta said we'd release by Fall. We were hoping to, but we are taking it slower to ensure that we get it right, and that we have some good problems being solved by our partners. That's currently happening, and we're refining our tools significantly.

We all eagerly await the release of HTM.
In the meantime, couldn't you release some preliminary code so that enthusiasts and experimenters could play around with it? |

Per our email sent back in October, we're still on track to ship the release in the first quarter of 2007. Donna's exact words were:

So, if you're not on our mailing list, you should do so now to ensure that you get our notification of our release.
